I grew up in Toquerville Utah where I came to love everything involving Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS). While in high school I was the President of Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and competed at the National level. I was also the school Family & Consumer Sciences Sterling Scholar and District runner up. I graduated from Utah State University (USU) with my Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. While in college I was continually involved in FCCLA by mentoring students and judging state competitions. I can't seem to just sit on the side lines and was also involved in the Kappa Delta Sorority council as the Panhellenic representative and served on USU's Greek Council. I also served as the FACS club representative and served on the College of Agriculture senators organization in that same position. I student taught at Desert Hills High School and had the opportunity to teach at the FACS educators Winter Conference in 2012. In my spare time I like to quilt, try new recipes, silk paint, explore the outdoors, travel and spoil my kids.
I am so excited to be back!
