TUCK
-Using an 8"x5" sample, mark the following with a dot along the 8" top edge of fabric:
2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", 4.5", 5", 5.5", 6"
-Draw a dashed line down from the 2.5", 4", 5.5" marks.
-Draw a solid line down from all other marks.
-Starting from the right pinch & fold the fabric together so each the dashed line is a fold. Place pins in the fold to hold in place.
-Check the sample to make sure it is folded correctly!
-Sew on a solid line.
-Fold the fabric again so the dashed line is a fold. Place pins in the fold to hold & stitch on solid line as before.
-Repeat last step.
(make sure it is folded the same direction as the last).
-Press tucks going in one direction.
-Pink the 3 other edges.
